Open Evening September 2013
September 30, 2013
By Mr D Croston, Headteacher
One of the highlights of the first month back at school is the Open Evening and this year was no exception. Mr Parker, our longstanding Deputy Headteacher reported he had never seen the school so busy with large numbers of prospective students and their parents.

It was a superb occasion and I am extremely grateful to all the students, staff, parents and governors who showed off Chancellor's in such a good light. Our students, as always, were wonderful ambassadors for the school and the feedback from visitors has been very complimentary.

Last week, we also had a series of Open Mornings and again we had numerous very impressed visitors. We have already had twice as many applications for a school place on the basis of musical aptitude than this time last year.
