Parent-Teacher Association

You can visit the PTA website here.

Chancellor’s Parent Teacher association (PTA) has 3 main aims:

  1. To advance pupils’ education by providing the ‘extras’ not normally available through public funds.
  2. To enhance relationships between the school, staff and parents through fundraising activities and events both in and out of school.
  3. To have fun and forge friendships in the process.

As a parent/guardian/teacher of a pupil at Chancellor’s, you automatically become a member of the PTA.

The PTA is run by volunteers who help to organise various events throughout the year, but also support the school by providing willing helpers when needed. This may be as simple as serving teas and coffees at a variety of school functions and shows.

We have occasional meetings, either at school or perhaps in a local pub. Anyone is welcome, whether it’s to listen to what’s being planned, express an opinion, make a suggestion, or volunteer to help. It is also a good social occasion to meet other parents, which is often sadly lacking in secondary schools.

If you are unable to participate in the organisational side of things, we would ask that you do try to support the PTA instead by attending some or all of the events we may put on. Unfortunately if no-one supports our events, we do not make any money for the school!

Please browse through our brand new website for any events we are planning or any school events that we may need help with. We will keep this website current and up to date so you can identify dates you are able to help us.

Contact either Julia or Debbie by emailing to find out more or to add your name to our list of willing volunteers, or do feel free to call or text Julia on 07766774856.

Alternatively fill in the online contact form and we will be in contact.
