Superb Year 11 Maths Results

On Thursday 18th April, Year 11 students received the results for their actual GCSE in maths, which they sat in February and March. It was a very impressive set of results with a staggering 84% achieving A*-C and a third of all students achieving A* or A grades.

Year 7

Students are taught in mixed ability form groups for the first term, then set according to achievement for the remainder of year 7: the cohort is divided into two parallel halves with 3 sets in each half.

AS Mathematics: Statistics 1 (Code 6683) examination is completed in January of Year 12, Core 1 (Code 6663) and Core 2 (Code 6664) examinations are completed in May/June of Year 12.

A2 Mathematics: Decision 1 (Code 6689) or Mechanics 1 (Code 6677) examination is completed in January of Year 13. Core 3 (Code 6665) and Core 4 (Code 6666) examinations are completed in May/June of Year 13.
